We are going to be unpacking a LOT in this website...

In hopes of getting our story out and getting Curry's to fix our home that they DESTROYED!

(STILL ADDING CONTENT)
Because their insurance company denied the claim stating that they do not cover negligence under their general liability policy! Curry's won't return our calls, emails, or texts!

On June 18th, 2025 our journey in our new home (we just bought our home in April) came to an extreme halt! (sounds dramatic, but that's how it feels at this point!) We woke up at midnight to the sound of water pouring into our master bedroom!

To give you an idea of how much water was pouring in, the large black tote in the video was 32 gallon and we had to dump it twice before we left for the emergency room (I'll get to that) and it was overflowing when we got home 4.5 hours later!

Once we realized what was going on, we grabbed every tote and bucket we could find to place where the water was pouring in to try to catch as much water as possible...

The master bedroom water was pouring in through the french door threshold, crack of ceiling and wall, and between the logs where it could force through. There was a lot of water and what couldn't come through the cracks washed over our ceiling and went across the room completely and down the walls in a few places.

Buckets in place, we went to assess the rest of the house...

The living room had the same situation, however the logs are painted and sealed and only let minimal water through the logs, but that forced the water to go over the ceiling and across this room, too.

The kitchen had water dripping in from the large skylight that was now a hole because Curry's ripped ours out and took them to the dump before realizing they ordered the wrong size! Water all over the kitchen sitting on cabinets, counters, and floor.

I immediately cleaned up the water and we text and called the roofing company. Curry's supervisor, Craig, came over that morning and went up on the ladder to assess the damage and took photos of inside. He apologized up and down and said

sometimes things like this happened but that they would make it right and be with us every step of the way. We were understanding and still hopeful that they would in fact make it right. To date, over 2 months later, they have not!

Our house is pretty much gutted due to the water damage and we are displaced. We have a 2 year old, a 3 year old, a 16 year old, and I am the caregiver to my 76 year old father in law that is a disabled veteran. Curry's can't be bothered with any of this and will not return calls, texts or emails. We have 2 failed roof inspections, a roof that has tarps over the huge rectangular skylights that Currys ripped out without replacing and we are entering the peak of hurricane season. But there is so much more! Click on each link to see more of our story...
